The major objectives of the Faculty of Education at the BAU are to:

1. Provides facilities for a qualitative education and training in Educational Management for young men and women for initial entry into careers in Educational Management, for mid-career Educational Management and for the continuous development of practicing Educational Managers and administrators,
2. Engage in research into local, national and international Educational Management problems and also to contribute to the development and use of knowledge in the field of Educational Management thereby helping to improve the Educational Management profession by prescribing solutions to match specific Educational Management problems,
3. Provide for the development of teachers and researchers in Educational Management,
4. Establish a resource for development of case studies and materials for teaching of Educational Management courses to teachers at the tertiary institutions and to Educational Managers and administrators from Business and industries, and
5. Offer research and consultancy services in Educational Management and related fields for the benefit of organizations either in the private or public sectors or to state and federal governments that might require such services.
