Welcome to the ISDH

Welcome to the Prof. Ijeoma Anumaka International School of Diplomacy and Human Rights (ISDH).

Prof. Ijeoma Anumaka International School of Diplomacy and Human Rights (ISDH) at the British American University is a top notch Institute located in Orlando, Florida with and the School operates in over 150 countries with about 50,000 certified professionals. The major mission of the ISDH is to advance education for all and empower people to learn and understand human rights, diplomacy and diplomatic relations. Additionally, ISDH provides access to schools for underprivileged children by offering them resources such as school supplies and scholarships.

The main vision of the BAU International School of Diplomacy and Human Rights (ISDH) is to decentralize education to all countries and foster a deeper understanding of Diplomacy and Human Rights across various nations. Presently, the BAU-ISDH stands as a testament to that vision, expanding beyond imagination with teams, regional directors, and consultants in over 85 countries.

The BAU-ISDH also aims to advance diplomacy and human rights globally by strengthening capacity, fostering international dialogue, and leading impactful humanitarian initiatives. We equip individuals, organizations, and governments with practical training and internationally recognized certifications to address critical issues such as human trafficking, gender-based violence, and diplomatic protocol. Through policy advisory and development, we support institutions in implementing effective, standards-aligned solutions. Through public diplomacy, we connect global leaders, diplomats, and communities to promote collaboration and shared solutions. In parallel, our humanitarian campaigns support vulnerable populations by expanding access to education, resources, and advocacy tools. Our goal is to develop capable leaders and institutions that drive meaningful, sustainable change within their communities and across borders.

The ISDH provides excellent training and development programs which give participants the skills, knowledge and exposure they need to pursue a career in human rights, diplomacy, and diplomatic relations. Our humanitarian mission through the ISDH is “Education for Creativity and Development for Every Child” and it primarily provides specifically underprivileged children who cannot afford quality education with the necessary school supplies, financial needs and scholarships. With funds from all our generous donors as well as our training and development programs, the ISDH is changing countless lives for the better and recall them back to life!

Through the School, our educational programs (academic and professional) serve as beacons of empowerment for today and many generations to come. The ISDH offers certification courses covering essential topics like human rights, human trafficking prevention, disability rights and diplomacy. We provide personal materials for the needy children while empowering women and girls, offering scholarships and also provide protection from the perils of trafficking and gender-based violence.

Furthermore, the ISDH actively promotes the freedom of religion or belief, combating anti-Semitism, xenophobia, and hatred in the society without discrimination. Concurrently, our event programs ranging from International Conferences on Disability Rights to the Diplomacy and Conferences on Human Rights amplify our dedication to addressing diverse social issues. These are in addition to proceeds from our Certificate, Diploma, undergraduate and postgraduate degree programs.

Presently, apart from the professional Certificates and Diploma programs, the ISDH at the British American University, Florida, runs Masters in Human Rights and Diplomacy including Master of Science (MSc), Master of Law (LL.M) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in (a) Human Rights Advocacy, (b) Human Rights Diplomacy, (c) International Affairs and Diplomatic Practice, (d) International Relations and Diplomacy, (e) International Law and Diplomacy, and (f) Human Rights Law and International Diplomacy.
