The British American University conducts regular research in a number of life endeavors; that is we conducts research into diverse professional fields through specialized Research Centers and Schools including Food and Nutrition Research Center, Center for International Development, International School of Diplomacy and Human Rights, Center for Women Studies and Gender Relations, International Solar Research Center, Center for Research in Traditional Medicine, Alternative and Complementary Medicine, Center for Transport and Logistics Studies, Center for Arabic and Islamic Studies, and Center for Training and Development. Each Center or specialized School has a Programs Director.
The University conducts Research into Healing Power. BAU embraces research into the healing power of nature with our diverse programs that focus on Naturopathy, Herbology, and Nutrition, and learn how to promote holistic well-being and natural remedies. Research is conducted in this aspect through the Center for Research in Traditional, Alternative and Complementary Medicine headed by Dr. Awolola Awoniyi Awofala as the Director in collaboration with the Food and Nutrition Research Center headed by Dr.(Mrs.) Victoria Abiola Olasunsi.
